Cholga Empire

This was the first empire to unify most of Jagria at the time. The Cholga were around since the dawn of Tsvai'de civilization, but they saw their moment to expand in the 1320's BC. While they only lasted until the 1270's BC, they had influenced Jagria tremendously, setting the stage for newer even larger states to take its place.

Culture and Customs

The Cholga Tribe, originating in Sade, preoccupied themselves with war. Their local religions revolved around an unknown holy site called the Cave of Beginning, a large den unlike any other, where all of the life in the world once originated from. They worship the jagrian counterpart to Gaia as their god.

Government Structure

The Cholga Empire was a chiefdom. Upon overstretching, they had to leave many of their former enemy tribes in charge of their former territories, further decentralizing the nation until the chief's death had fully broken the empire that once stood.

Overview History

In ~1320 B.C. the Cholga tribe had subjugated one of their enemies - the Ozol tribe. They had then made it their mission to unify what was Sade at the time. Once all of Sade enjoyed unity for the first time, they became an unstoppable force, spilling north like a quickly raging river. The conquests had only lasted 20 years, finally conquering the majority of the middlelands in the late ~1290's B.C.
